"During an interview, Skales discusses their collaborative efforts at Empire Mates Entertainment and the impact on their careers."
Popular singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, known as Skales, has claimed that he wrote several hit songs for fellow artist Wizkid during their time at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
In an interview on the show *Curiosity Made Me Ask*, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Skales revealed that he co-wrote tracks on Wizkid’s debut album, *Super Star*, including the bonus track "Wiz Party."
Skales also acknowledged that Wizkid contributed to his music, notably writing the hit song "Mukulu." He explained, "Back in EME, we were a team, so we used to write songs for each other. I wrote songs for Wizkid, and he also wrote for me."
Both artists were among the first signed to EME by R&B star Banky W in the early 2010s, which helped launch their careers. However, they eventually departed from the label after a series of disagreements with Banky W, who previously noted in an interview that Wizkid was initially contracted to produce three albums for EME.
